Muhammad Haekal Dwinanda,

Goes by Haekal for short, developed his interest for engineering as early as 7th grade. His interest towards helicopter-view problem solving brought him to Industrial Engineering Department, Universitas Indonesia, where he found 'formal geekery' in form of 'Industrial-Engineering-fu'.

Haekal has found his path towards indutrial engineering diversed and multi-disciplined, yet he fell in love with Product Development and Innovation. His personal cores include computer aided manufacturing, digital product development, and OPSEC.

His undergraduate thesis project concerns with the low resilience in taking large-scale order in SMEs and how to solve this problem with knowledge management system approach.

This project is continuation of design phase project of portable toilet. This project focuses on concept selection, production, deployment on various location, and marketing strategy development. My role in this project were to develop alternative designs on CAD software, handles technical deployment on various location, prepare patent document, and analyze production means for the finished goods.

Worked in team as product designer and in charge of prototyping. The goal of this project is to develop an automata toy. Our team picked traditional martial arts theme with gamification concept to answer the challenge on automata design.

Student Creativity Project: “Filter Portabel untuk Menghasilkan Air Baku pada Musim Hujan dan Musim Kemarau”

My role in this project are developing CAD design for the beta through final concept of the portable filter, handling the technical specification of the portable filter, and prototyping the finished product. This project won bronze and silver medal on 27th National Scientific Week in Universitas Mataram, Lombok.
